Daima Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 1 sack of maize and 4 sacks of cassava, to build upon her initial capital.

Daima Group's story

Ms. Marie is a client of Hekima IMF and chairs the village group “DAIMA”. She is married, 40 years old and the mother of 10 children, 7 of whom go to school. Her partner is unemployed.

She is a maize and cassava seller: she started this business 1 year and 9 months ago with the start-up funds received after the sale of her goat. Later she involved the Hekima program to support her business, which she gradually grew.

With this new loan, she will source 1 bag of maize and 4 bags of cassava, which will strengthen her initial capital.

The biggest challenge of her business activity is linked to unpaid debts.

She would like her children to continue studying and build a house.

Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support provided to owners of non-cash-converting businesses in this context of the global Covid-19 crisis.

The photo is only of the group leader because of Covid-19 in compliance with social distancing measures.
