Nieta Group's story

His name is Guouanflo, aged 35 years old, literate, and he represents the group in the photo due to COVID-19. Married, and father to 6 children--2 of whom go to school, he lives in a rural community in Mali. His children are between the ages of 2 and 16 years old.

His dream revolves around the well-being of his children and the growth of his business. Given his insufficient startup funds, he requested financial support from RMCR to grow and increase the capacity of his business of fattening sheep.

Guouanflo makes his purchases at the public fair and sells his sheep at the market and surrounding areas with upfront payments. With 90,000 fCFA in profit after 6 months of sales, which is 15,000 fCFA monthly, he sees that this business is profitable. He has been in business for 2 years, sometimes he faces difficulties with feeding the animals and with epidemics.
