Juliet's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to expand her business and increase the size and range of her stock.

Juliet's story

Juliet is a 21-year-old entrepreneur, who lives with her parents in the Isoka district in Zambia.

Juliet sells groceries, such as soft drinks and packaged snacks.

Juliet is requesting a Kiva loan in order to buy more groceries and meet her customers' growing demand. She plans to use the profits she earns to support herself, and to help vulnerable people in her community.

Juliet will repay the ‘social interest’ on her loan by volunteering three hours per week as a CAMFED Transition Guide, supporting other young women who are just entering the CAMFED Association by delivering an orientation course with weekly sessions on topics including health, financial literacy, and career guidance.
