La Esperanza Group's story

The group of women called La Esperanza is from the city of Villarrica. It is in its first loan cycle with the Women's Committee Program. The members are all heads of their families, fighters and entrepreneurs.

Taking Alicia Beatriz as an example, she is from the City of Villarrica, and her occupation is selling clothing. She is also a designer and dressmaker. She is a single mom and head of her family. Her goal is to continue working so she can continue to contribute to her household income. She is asking for this loan so she can buy assorted garments and fabrics in large quantities.

Note: There is only one person in the photo, but it is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo and adhere to the social distancing requirements in place due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
