Sopheak's story

Aged 25, Sopheak is a brave person, a married woman and highly respected in her local area. She lives with her children and is engaged in growing rice and raising some poultry at home to cover her family's needs. She has knowledge in growing rice such as land preparation, cultivation and growth of rice. She also knows about fertilizer, diseases on rice and other agriculture tasks.

Because of a shortage in her finances, she has applied for a loan in the amount of KHR 8,000,000 to pay for renovations. This funding will enable her to purchase construction supplies as well pay for labor costs. Having a strong personal home is a source of pride, safety, comfort and dignity in society. Home is a place to spend time with a beloved family.
