El Gramal 5 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy sacks of corn.

El Gramal 5 Group's story

Maria Carmen, age 36, lives with her two children, ages 17 and 14. She does not have relatives living abroad.

For eight years, Maria has worked selling tortillas. It is a trade that she learned due to economic necessity. She does the work very well, and it permits her to generate income to help with economic responsibilities.

But she wishes to have a more stable business, and so she requests a loan to buy sacks of corn, which are more available in this season. With this investment, she hopes to have more product on hand for her clients, to reduce wait time, to have a larger tortilla shop, and to have a better future for herself and her children.

Maria del Carmen, Brayan, Evelyn, and Ronald comprise the solidarity group "El Gramal 5". They are responsible and enterprising people with the common goal of getting their families ahead.
