06_Foyer De La Femme Ndande Group's story

This group of twenty-one women are united by solidarity and mutual support. They live in the same neighbourhood and seized the opportunity to belong to the banc villageois when it opened in December 2011. They are earn a living through small commerce.

Madame Ndeye (at the extreme right of the photo with her hand raised) is the group's representative. She is 51 years old. She is a widow and the mother of seven children of which two are boys. She sells breakfasts. She has been running this business for a number of years, and is reaping the benefits.

She intends to use this loan to buy rice, oil, onions, potatoes and condiments to prepare meals to sell to her customers.

The profits will be used to develop her business, contribute to her savings and manage the needs of her children and herself.
