Elfa Bolivia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy sets of bedsheets, peanuts, disinfectants, soaps, etc.

Elfa Bolivia's story

Elfa Bolivia and her family live in Portoviejo, a city that was affected by the earthquake of April 16, 2016 and now by the Covid-19 pandemic. The city is rich in production of vegetables and tropical fruit for internal consumption.

Elfa Bolivia sells from home and as a street vendor offering peanut butter, ground peanuts, cornstarch, panela (sugar extracted directly from cane sugar without refining or whitening so it is all natural), detergents, Suavitel softener, bleach, bars of soap, disinfectants, sets of bedsheets, etc.

At first social distancing kept her from working for fear of contagion and several restrictions impeded her work but now she is attending to customers using biosafety protocols.

This loan will be used to buy sets of bedsheets, peanuts, disinfectants, soaps, etc. Her dream is to have a store to continue her sales activity.
