A loan helped to buy an industrial oven.

Mujeres De Pucara Group's story

Martha is 38 years old, single and has 2 children. She works baking and selling her products. She tells us that she has been working in this activity for 10 years from her home. She says that it is her first loan and that she met the members of her communal bank because they are sales colleagues and the others are neighbours in the area where she lives.

She will invest her loan in the purchase of an industrial oven that will help her with the sales that she now has. A typical day for her is getting up very early, getting her children ready to prepare the cakes and sell them.

The aspirations that she has in her business is to be a well-known pastry chef, and the aspirations of her life and with her family is to buy her house and that her children become good students and professionals.

Only the board of directors appears in the photo. This is because it is a remote disbursement due to the pandemic.
