Awa's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 30 sacks of peanuts and 20 sacks of beans, and to save money to care for her family.

Awa's story

Awa is the mother of 4 children, of whom two go to school. She has been a merchant in an outlying neighborhood for more than 11 years. She buys cereals, stores them, and resells them when the time is right.

Awa has repaid her sixth Kiva loan without difficulty, and she is requesting a new loan to buy 30 sacks of peanuts and 20 sacks of beans to augment her stock of merchandise. She will reinvest part of it to expand her business and save money to take care of her family.

She appreciates YIKRI and its partners for the support provided to unbanked entrepreneurs. She invites everyone to protect themselves from the Covid-19 virus.
