A loan helped to buy beauty products for his salon and start a charcoal business.
Charles Ndoria's story
Charles is a 40-year-old businessman. He is married to Dinah Kanini, and they have a son who is six years old. He has been operating a barber shop for about four years now. His wife owns a hair and beauty salon which generates an income of approximately 400 Kenyan Shillings a day. Charles intends to use the loan that he has applied for to buy more beauty products and open a charcoal business. This is his third loan; he has been paying back the previous two successfully. He intends to reinvest the profit generated from this loan in the salon and charcoal business. In the future, Charles hopes to upgrade his barber shop by buying modern machines for it, and to supply beauty products and cosmetics to other salons in the Juja area. He also dreams of engaging in the wholesale distribution of charcoal.
