Rose's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase hybrid seeds and fertilizer to improve harvests of maize.

Rose's Group's story

Rose, pictured above, has been a farmer for four years, and is now proud to represent her group of 12 farmers in Teso District. She is 48 years old, married and has eight children.

Rose likes to think of herself as a very trustworthy person. She has been working alongside One Acre Fund since 2018 and decided to represent her group because she wanted to help more farmers.

She says that being part of the One Acre Fund community has meant that she has been able to save more money.

Rose plans to use the profits from this coming season to send her children to school.

In total, Rose’s Group will receive inputs to cultivate 5 acres of land.
