A loan helped to purchase more biscuits, soft drinks, water, and other items to sell.

Jamesetta's story

Meet 23-year-old Jamesetta from Liberia. She is single, with two children. She attended school up to eleventh grade. Both of her children are currently attending school while living at home.

She is a strong businesswoman who runs a business that sells biscuits, soft drinks, water, and other items. She has dealt in this business for the past 10 years now and works eight hours per day, six days a week. For the time being, she has had no problem with her business.

She requested this loan from BRAC to purchase more biscuits, soft drinks, water, and other items to sell and increase her business. She says that the extra income from this loan will help improve their standard of living.

She is so proud of her business because it helps provide for her needs. In the future, she would like to improve her business and build a house. She says thanks and gives appreciation to BRAC and the Kiva community for their support.
