Ambenje's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy cost-efficient maize seeds and fertilizer for the coming harvesting season, as well as a solar light.

Ambenje's Group's story

Ambenje is 59 years old and has 8 children. She has been a farmer for more than 20 years. Even though Ambenje is the only one featured in the above picture, she is actually representing her group formed by 8 farmers in Lugari District, Kenya.

Ambenje started working alongside One Acre Fund in 2014 and decided to do so because she wanted to have access to quality training and acquire new farming methods. Since then, she has been able to consistently feed her family. This year, she decided to represent her group because she wanted to help more farmers.

Ambenje’s Group will receive farming inputs to plant 3.75 acres of land and two solar lights.
