Zamire Yetu Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on salted and fried fish to strengthen her initial capital.

Zamire Yetu Group's story

Esperance is a Hekima client and chairs the "Zamire Yetu" village group. She is married, 43 years old, and mother of four children, all of whom attend school. Her partner is unemployed.

Esperance sells fish. She started this business 20 years ago with startup funds received from her husband. Later, she got involved with the Hekima program to support her business, during which she gradually evolved. With this new loan, she will stock up on salted and fried fish, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of her activity is linked to a lack of customers.

Esperance would like for her children to continue to study and to feed her family. Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for their support of non-bankable business owners in the context of the global crisis linked to COVID-19. The photo only shows the group leader because of COVID-19 social distancing measures.
