Joan's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for farm inputs such as certified seeds, high nutrient fertilizers, and pesticides to improve her soil fertility and boost production.

Joan's story

This is Joan, a young mum aged 21 years and and a very aggressive lady in everything she does. Joan ventured into farming eight years ago so as to provide a meal for her family.

Joan lives with her family and sustains them using the proceeds of her farming. She lives in a remote village in the Eldama ravine area of Kenya, and she started farming few years ago on a small plot she acquired. On the farm she has dairy cows and a small garden.

In order to grow more crops on the farm, Joan is seeking a loan to pay for farm inputs such as certified seeds, high nutrient fertilizers, and pesticides to improve her soil fertility and boost production on her farm.

It takes a lot for a smallholder farmer to risk limited resources to expand a farm business. With your help, Joan will be able to pay the high cost of farm inputs necessary for expansion. A significant portion of the profits will be put back into the business to fuel growth as she sets a good foundation for her children.

Joan really hopes for your help and contribution. She is thankful in advance, looks forward to your financial support, and is hoping for your trust
