Mujeres Luchadoras Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy meat, dressing, and bakery items in bulk.

Mujeres Luchadoras Group's story

The Mujeres Luchadoras groups started with the initiative of a group of families who live in the city of Itá and those who heard about the Enterprising Women Committee program through her neighbors who are currently part of the group. Currently, the group is on its first cycle with twelve women with current financial activities.

Lilian is one of the members of the group, who works selling kebabs at her house. Also, she works in a family home as a domestic employee. She has worked in this for several years; all the family helps her with the different functions the business needs. She opens her store every day in the afternoon since she does the housework in the mornings. In the meantime, her family purchases all that is necessary to make the products and thus offer the best products to her customers.

Lilian is requesting this loan to buy meat, dressings, and bakery items in bulk, since that allows her to obtain greater profits and thus improve her income and quality of life.

Note: In this picture, there is only one person but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo to avoid the gathering of people because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
