Martha Angela's story

Martha lives with her husband and two children, ages 7 and 10. They are both economically dependent on her. She has two brothers who live abroad.

Martha's economic activity is to sell basic products. She opened this business 5 years ago and it was for the purpose of generating income for her household. The trade, she learned on her own initiative. She works from Monday to Saturday from 6am to 5pm. The advantage of her business is that it is located on a main street.

She is applying for a loan because she needs working capital to strengthen her business inventory. The funds borrowed will serve to purchase cooking oil, basic grains, tomatoes, pasta, and other products to sell in her store business. Martha hopes with the investment to increase her sales and profits.

Her aspirations are to work to grow her business and generate more income to give her children the opportunity to excel academically.
