Corazon Valiente Group's story

The communal bank "Corazán Valiente [Courageous Heart]" is a responsible and happy group made up of 8 members. They are in their second loan cycle, led by the president Lisbet. Due to the pandemic, three people appear in the photo, representing the board of directors.

Lisbet, age 33, is an enterprising, hardworking woman who is very determined to achieve her goals. For the past ten years, she has worked in agriculture; she grows cacao and sells fruit.

The pandemic affected her significantly because business decreased as she doesn't make sales like she did before. She works harder to be able to sell her products.

She is taking this opportunity to request her loan through Kiva in order to carry out maintenance on her plot of cacao and continue providing quality products for her customers. In addition, [she will use it] for extra projects, sometimes to help with construction or cleaning so that she can pay her pending expenses.
