Mujeres Unidas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy vegetables, fruit, bread, canned goods, meats and other products.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

The Mujeres Unidas Group is in its fourth women’s committee loan cycle in the city of Curuguaty. The members are heads-of-household and they got together to insure their families lack for nothing.

Maria Marlene is one of them and she is also the president of the group. She is married and works as a merchant in her store that, through much sacrifice and effort, she was able to establish. Thanks to her hard work and good customer service she has been able to improve.

She has a daughter and strives to give her everything she, herself, never had so her daughter lacks for nothing. She is happy for the opportunity that she and her colleagues have to be able to improve and get ahead.

This loan is to buy goods for her business such as vegetables, fruits, bread, canned goods, meats and other products.

Note: There is only one person in the photo despite this being a group loan. A group photo was not possible because of social distancing due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
