Carmen Eludivina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy detergents, eggs, soft drinks, water, plastic containers, glasses, disposable bags, etc.

Carmen Eludivina's story

Carmen Eludivina and her family live in Portoviejo, a city affected by the earthquake of April 16, 2016 and now by the Covid-19 pandemic. The city is rich in production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruit for domestic consumption.

Carmen Eludivina strives every day to continue making sales in her small grocery store, where she has a variety of products and provisions. She works every day, from very early until night. With this income, she covers all the expenses of her home.

In her family, two of her children got sick with Covid-19 and have recuperated. Social isolation at first left her without work due to fear of contagion and various restrictions that kept her from selling, but now she is following bio-security protocols.

This loan is to buy detergents, eggs, soft drinks, water, plastic containers, glasses, disposable bags, etc. Her dream is to again have more sales and that her family will have good health.
