Fatma's story

Fatma is 39 and married with four boys and one girl. Her husband works but with a low income. She started life with her husband with no stable income and no private home, as she used to live with her husband's family in the same house. She is ambitious for a private home for her and for her children, and for a stable income.

Fatma says that no-one says no to food, so why not start a small, traditional Egyptian food business and keep it as a stable source of money, because food doesn't lose. She is requesting a loan to buy cooking utensils and vegetables for her traditional Egyptian breakfast business. She hopes to make it a success, and she is getting known in her village for delicious food.

She wants to continue her children's education and provide them with better living conditions.
