Prudence's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to expand her business and increase the size and range of her stock.

Prudence's story

Prudence is a 27-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her siblings in the Kabwe district in Zambia. She sells rice and eggs. Prudence is requesting a Kiva loan to expand her business by buying more bags of rice and trays of eggs to meet her customers' needs.

Prudence plans to use the profits she earns to carry out philanthropy in her community. She will repay the ‘social interest’ on her loan by volunteering three hours per week as a member of the Camfed alumni association, Cama, providing mentorship to younger members as they tackle a range of personal and entrepreneurial issues.
