A loan helped to purchase cereals such as maize and beans to sell to her local market at a profit for a better life.

Priscillah's story

Few years ago, Priscillah ventured into agricultural production. A white collar job was not her option anymore. She decided to work as a farm manager on her small farm, which is on the outskirts of Eldoret town, in a small humble village.

As a single mother who is unwilling to let her children suffer, Priscillah has always struggled to give her children a better lifestyle. She is a mixed farmer who loves her job.

Priscillah is a woman with a great knowledge of the economic patterns in her area, and she has acquired many skills and sales knowledge through this business. As a result, she deems the cereal business to be one of the highest profit-making businesses in her village.

Her savings aren’t enough to start this new enterprise, however, so she has requested financial assistance from Juhudi. She will use this loan to buy different varieties of cereals such as maize and beans to sell in her local market to meet the high demand.

Profits from the cereal business will be used to repay the loan and improve her living conditions. She will also save and give her beloved children a good lifestyle. Priscillah thanks her lenders, for it is only through this loan that she will step into the opportunities awaiting her and into the great outcomes of success.
