A loan helped to buy various products to sell.

01_Medina Niakh Jarinu Group's story

This group comprises seven women who are part of the banc villageois founded in this area in June 2015. The women live in the same neighborhood and have good relationships. They have reimbursed many loans successfully, and business is their main activity.

Madame Yacine is the group representative. She is 69 years old and seated at left in the photo with her hand raised. She is a widow and the mother of 12 children, including three daughters. All of her children are adults between 29 and 50 years old.

Yacine sells various products. She buys her supplies in multiple markets and resells them out of her home to people in the neighborhood. She has 25 years of sales experience.

With this loan, she will buy pairs of shoes, firewood, and supplies to make ice cream (baobab fruit, hibiscus, sugar, etc.) Her activity is working well as she sells out of her goods without any issues.

This income will help Yacine bolster her savings with the banc villageois and to manage her small expenses.
