01_Sebi Kip Kip Group's story

This group of 7 women belongs to a "banc villageois" created in September 2013. They live in the same area and are united by good social relations. Their main activity is retail.

Khady, the leader, is 64 years old and is standing on the left of the picture, raising her hand. She is married and the mother of 2 adult children, one of whom is a boy. Her son is a mechanic.

Khady sells fruit which she gets from orchard wholesalers and resells in the capital and on the side of the highway. She has been doing this for over a decade and has built up good experience.

She will use her new loan to buy cases of soursop, grapefruit, papaya, and various other fruit that she will resell with a good profit margin. Her business is going strong because she has a loyal clientele and is doing well.

The profits she earns will enable her to build her savings, develop her business, and help her husband with the family expenses.
