Nelly Monserrate's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase make up, perfume, imitation jewelry, creams, etc., to sell.

Nelly Monserrate's story

Nelly Monserrate and her family live in Portoviejo, a city much affected by the earthquake of April 16, 2016, and now by the covid-19 pandemic. The city is well known for the production of garden products such as vegetables and tropical fruits for local consumption.

Nelly sells catalog products from Avon, Yanbal, Belcorp (Ibel, Cyzone, Esika), mainly beauty products. She sells door to door and from her home, and via internet and WhatsApp.

In her family, she and her husband became infected with Covid-19 but now have recovered. Initially, they were impeded from working for fear of contagion. and by restrictions that impeded them from leaving home. But now they are working anew, conforming to the appropriate bio-security protocols.

This loan is for purchasing make up, perfume, imitation jewelry, creams, etc.

Nelly's dream is to have a shop where she can continue to make sales, and that her family might have good health.
