Angelina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more maize and agricultural inputs to sell in order to increase her family's income.

Angelina's story

Angelina is a 33-year-old Mozambican woman. She is married and lives in Nkhame, Tete Province, with her husband and their four lovely children.

Angelina is an optimistic and very hard-working woman. She depends on agriculture to send her children to school as well as to bring income to her family. Together with her friends, other women farmers from her community, Angelina produces and sells grains in the local market.

Thanks to her previous Kiva loan, Angelina was able to build a small shop in her village where she sells agricultural inputs such as fertilizers and agricultural surplus such as maize.

Angelina also joined a group of smaller farmers in her community; they save together in order to strengthen their finances.

Angelina intends to expand her business, and to achieve this goal, she needs to buy much more maize from other small farmers.

Thus, Angelina is requesting another Kiva loan to buy more maize and agricultural inputs to sell in order to increase her family's income..
