Los Polos Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy corn, sugar, cottage cheese, and shoes.

Los Polos Group's story

This is the communal bank Los Polos, made up of eight members from Managua, Nicaragua. In its third loan cycle, it stands out for its members responsibility and desire to forge ahead together with their businesses: a repair shop, caponera service [motorcycle or tricycle taxi], grocery store, beauty stylist, used clothing sales, and food sales.

Marling del Socorro (seated in the middle) is 34 years old. She is single with two school age children. Her business selling pastries, meats, and shoes, which she has had for six years, has been the only source of income for her and her family. Her business makes her feel independent and important to the people who use her products and who are satisfied. With the loan funds she will buy greater quantities of shoes and supplies for making pastries, such as corn, sugar, and cottage cheese, so that she can expand and consolidate her business.

She's counting on you so that she can keep making progress.!
