Pan De Vida Group's story

Pan de Vida is a community association made up of 12 clients from Chinandega, Nicaragua, who have organized themselves in solidarity to strengthen their businesses, which include a small grocery store; mining; and selling vegetables, tortillas, and baked goods.

Nubia Amparo (seventh person from the left) is 62 years old. She is a widow and a mother of 3 children, 1 of whom is in her third year of a university degree in business administration.

Nubia Amparo is being highlighted as group leader. She is a jovial, charismatic and empathetic person who, in order to provide a better future for her children, has been running her business of making and selling cuajada cheese, baked goods, baked beans and vegetables.

She has applied for a loan to invest in her business by purchasing milk, corn, beans and vegetables and increasing her sales.
