Bunna's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for household latrine construction.

Bunna's story

Bunna is a 34-year-old experienced farmer from the Treang District of Takeo Province. He lives with his family and is engaged in raising chickens and selling them to local traders to cover his family's needs. He has full support from his spouse, who works as a garment worker. The couple has three children who currently attend school.

Because of a shortage in his finances, Bunna has applied for a loan in the amount of USD 1,500 to pay for household latrine construction. This will allow him to purchase construction supplies as well as pay for labor costs. The latrine is very useful and can help prevent the spread of various diseases, allow the family to live with dignity, keep them clean and comfortable, provide a suitable place for bathing, participate in social sanitation, and prevent mud around the house.

In the future, Bunna aims to purchase more land for agricultural purposes and open a small grocery store to earn additional income. He gives thanks to all lenders for helping his family.
