Muazu's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to open an agro-dealer shop.

Muazu's story

Muazu is a 32 years old farmer who has the ambition to expand his land under cultivation and earn higher profits from farming. As a member of Babban Gona, he has access to high-quality inputs and enhanced farming services which help to increase his yields.

Muazu expects to reap 40 bags/hectare of maize from this year's harvest, more than double the national Nigerian average of 18 bags/hectare. Nonetheless, he needs a Harvest Advance loan.

The loan will provide him with the cash equivalent of his value of maize at harvest. Babban Gona will then help store his maize and sell it at a higher price over the next 6 to 9 months, guaranteeing higher returns.

Through this, Muazu can open an agro-dealer shop as he desires and diversify his source of income.
