Jijuka Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more maize, sorghum and beans.

Jijuka Cb Group's story

Marie Rose is the 49-year-old mother of seven children aged between 11 and 17 years. Her husband is a businessman. For the past 10 years, Marie Rose has been selling foodstuffs.

Marie Rose is the leader of the group called Jijuka Cb, which in English means “be skilled.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Marie Rose will use her loan to buy more maize, sorghum, and beans to sell in her community and meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, Marie Rose hopes to be able to buy some livestock and also start constructing her own house.

Marie Rose is thankful for your support.

Note: Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members, but was able to photograph Marie Rose as a representative of the group.
