Korandebe Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more plantains.

Korandebe Cb Group's story

Jeanne Darc is a 61-year-old mother of seven children aged between 10 and 29. Her husband is a farmer. For the past twelve years, she has been selling foodstuffs.

Jeanne Darc is the leader of a group named Korandebe CB, which means “Let’s Work and See” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Jeanne Darc will use her loan to buy more plantains to sell in her community in order to meet the demands of her customers. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to pay school fees for her children.

Jeanne Darc is thankful for the support of the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
