Itabaza Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more maize flour, cooking oil, sugar, and beans.

Itabaza Cb Group's story

Clementine is a 35-year-old mother of five children, ages between 3 and 14 years. Her husband is a businessman. For the past five years, she has owned a grocery store.

Clementine is the leader of the group named ITABAZA CB, which means “The Light” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Clementine will use her loan to buy more maize flour, cooking oil, sugar, and beans to sell in her community in order to meet the demands of her customers. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to pay school fees for her children.

Clementine is thankful for the support of the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member, who is representing the group.
