Lulë's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to add one more cow to her current one in order to make a better income for her family.

Lulë's story

Lulë is a rural woman from northern Albania. She is married and a proud mother of five children, three boys and two girls. Life has not been very easy for her, as apart from the economic difficulties, one of her boys is completely blind, which was a big shock for her and her husband when discovered.

Lulë deals in agriculture and livestock, while her husband works in security. She has one cow, 15 pigs and 50 chickens and is satisfied with the income generated but has a big family, as her mother-in-law lives also with them, and a child with special needs makes it harder facing economic expenses.

Lulë is asking for Kiva lenders' support as she wants to buy another cow. This way she can sell dairy products, as with the actual cow can only cover the family consumption, and also will have another calf per year to sell.

Lulë thanks all Kiva lenders for enabling her to increase her family income and wishes to you all the best.
