Pamela's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy farming inputs (such as fertilizer) that will help to improve the quality of her crops and also increase her income.

Pamela's story

The planting season is here and Juhudi Kilimo would like to introduce Pamela, aged 47, from the Kapsowar area of Kenya. This area lacks basic amenities. Pamela is the true definition of a hard worker and a happy mother of lovely children. She grows crops and engages in dairy farming for commercial purposes, unlike many rural farmers who produce for subsistence purposes.

Pamela is seeking a loan to buy farming inputs, such as fertilizers, to improve her crops. Your loan will enable her to improve her crop production through the use of quality farm inputs.

Pamela dreams that through farming, she will be able to pull away from poverty and see to it that all of her children successfully complete their education. Pamela is a visionary and she is keen to ensure that she keeps on progressing in life.

Juhudi Kilimo, in partnership with Kiva, has extended its services to the remote areas in the Kapsowar region of Kenya, and its staff are keen to ensure that hardworking mothers, like Pamela, benefit from loans that would enable them to purchase farming inputs.

Kindly lend to a smallholder farmer this season!
