Buena Esperanza 1 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy supplies for a "fritanga" [small restaurant] and to buy pants, shirts, children's clothing, and underwear.

Buena Esperanza 1 Group's story

"Buena Esperanza 1" is a communal bank including eight people from Chinandega, Nicaragua. In their second loan cycle, they are characterized by good organization and responsibility. They are strengthening their businesses selling soft drinks and juices, cosmetics, chicken, clothing, and "fritanga".

Eveling (fourth from the left in a blue top and black jeans) is 34 years old and is raising three children. Within the group, she has stood out for her responsibility and desire for improvement.

The loan that she requests for C$ 10,000 [Nicaraguan córdobas] will permit her to invest C$2,000 in her "fritanga" and the remainder in her clothing business, to buy a half dozen of pants, shirts, children's clothing, and underwear. By supporting her businesses with loans, she can generate a savings fund for emergencies and educate her children for the future.

She is counting on you, to continue progressing.
