Sigimaname Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy cereals to sell in order to meet the needs of her family.

Sigimaname Group's story

Ramata, age 40, is a married woman with three dependents in her care. She lives in a village. At each harvest, she stocks up on cereals, namely corn and groundnuts. She is the only group member represented in the photo due to COVID-19 safety measures.

Ramata has been managing her grain storage business for three years. She buys cereals in bulk, stores them for a fixed period, then resells them. She would like a loan through RMCR to increase her storage capacity and earn a lot of profits. She buys cereals at local markets and resells them in the same community, earning 80,000 CFA francs with each sale.

Ramata is striving to be able to take charge of her finances as well as those of her children, who are already in school. For this undertaking, she is seeking a loan from the microfinance institution RMCR.
