Eliel's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase raw materials, such as fabrics, and two tailoring machines.

Eliel's story

Eliel is a hardworking entrepreneur living in the Karongi district in Rwanda. He runs a tailoring business where he sews and sells clothes for men, women, and children. He also coaches young people and women in tailoring, which helps them to create their own jobs.

He is married and a father of five children. His business has contributed to the well-being and wealth of his family.

In 1999, Eliel decided to attend tailoring training. After completing the training, he secured a job as a tailor and saved from his monthly salary to start his own tailoring shop.

The tailoring shop is well-known in the community because of its tailoring skills. He was able to help people have access to quality clothes at affordable prices.

Eliel is requesting a loan to purchase raw materials, such as fabrics, and two tailoring machines to help him sew more clothes and satisfy the increasing demand. With this loan, his business will continue growing and he will be able to keep his three permanent employees.
