New Twitezimbere Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more passion fruit, mangoes, pineapples, and avocados to sell.

New Twitezimbere Cb Group's story

Jeanne is a 54-year-old widowed mother of two children who are ages 24 and 29 years old. For the past eight years, she has been selling fruits.

Jeanne is the leader of the group called New Twitezimbere CB, which in English means “let’s develop ourselves”. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Jeanne will use her loan to buy more passion fruit, mangoes, pineapples, and avocados to sell in her community in order to meet the customer demand. With the profit from her sales, she hopes to be able to provide for her family and also expand her business.

Jeanne is thankful for the support of the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
