08-Djibabouya Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to sell refreshments and breakfast.

08-Djibabouya Group's story

This group of 18 women, each living in the same village, founded their group in December 2001. They share the same causes and live the same realities. They work in commerce and retail in order to have some autonomy.

Madam Coumba is 26 years old. She is featured above as the group representative due to Covid 19. She is married and the mother of one child, while she is also responsible for two others.

With this new loan, Madam Coumba plans to purchase monkey bread (baobab fruit), bissap (a drink made from hibiscus flowers), and sugar in order to sell juice. She also sells ice and breakfast.

The revenue from her sales allows Madam Coumba to increase her savings and invest in her other business, poultry raising.
