Dominic's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped Dominic to buy more farm inputs, such as feeds, and also helps him plow and weed his farm.

Dominic's story

Dominic is a simple and humble man who enjoys the simple pleasures of life such as spending time with his family when he is resting. He is 40 years old with a beautiful wife and three children who are in secondary school, while the younger one is in a primary boarding school.

Dominic earns a livelihood as a mixed farmer while his supportive wife is a school teacher employed by the government.

He enjoys the little joys of practicing farming that come every day as he tends to his plants and animals. Seeing them become mature and healthy, and produce abundantly, produces enumerable joys in his heart. Through this business he has created employment for farm workers and his produce is sold even to school and cattle traders.

For Dominic this is the first time he is seeking a loan from Kiva's field partner, ECLOF Kenya, to improve his farming. He has, however, taken from other institutions, and on hearing about ECLOF's good report, he decided he would like to borrow from a supportive lender and Kiva partner.

Dominic kindly requests a loan that will help him improve his farming as his major challenge has been financial constraints. He plans to repay his loan from the profits he makes after his bumper harvest. Dominic's dream is to provide his family with a bright future.
