Jean Damascene's story

Jean Damascene is a Rwandan entrepreneur who runs grocery store businesses in his district. He owns one grocery store in the camp, another one near a market, and a newly opened store in the city.

With his previous loans, Jean Damascene was able to increase and purchase more products for his stores in order to satisfy both the refugees and the customers in the host community. He was also able to open a new grocery store in Huye. This has improved his business and allowed him to provide jobs to six people, both refugees and other people from the host community.

Jean Damascene has gained a huge number of loyal customers from both the camp and the host community by offering them quality products and better service. He is known as a role model in the business community and looks forward to expanding his business.

Jean Damascene sometimes runs out of products due to the high demand from his customers and the lack of adequate resources. He is requesting a loan to increase his working capital so that he can introduce new products to his new grocery store since his customers are mainly refugees and residents of the host community. This will allow him to satisfy the increasing demands of his customers and provide more jobs to other people. It will also increase his revenues and allow him to provide more needed support for his family.
