Philemon's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more stock for his general store.

Philemon's story

Philemon is a Rwandan businessman, who started a general store in 2017. He started this business so he could provide easy access to affordable home utilities and clothing for the refugees who live in the Kigeme refugee camp in Rwanda.

Philemon is single and the general store has helped him cover his home bills and take care of his parents.

Philemon attended the AEC/Inkomoko training, which equipped him with different skills that he is now applying in his business. He now knows the value of great customer service and this has helped him build a strong relationship with his clients.

A loan to Philemon will help him purchase more stock for his general store, so he can satisfy the increasing demand he is experiencing. Philemon is excited to see his business grow and become one of the best in the community.
