Bora Uzima Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy beans, rice and flour to sell.

Bora Uzima Group's story

Mrs. Josephine is a client of the Hekima MFI and president of the group BORA UZIMA. She is 42 years old and married with five school-educated children. Her spouse is a merchant.

Josephine sells various food products. She launched this activity 10 years ago with starting capital supplied by her husband. She later joined Hekima to help sustain her business which has continued to grow steadily.

She will use this new loan to buy beans, rice and flour to bolster her stock. Her main challenge is a lack of customers.

She wants her children to pursue their education, and to expand her business.

She wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for helping non-bankable business owners during the Covid-19 global pandemic.

The photo shows the group leader alone in compliance with social distancing measures.
