Salina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy farming inputs to improve her production and make more income to support her family.

Salina's story

Greetings from Eldoret, Kenya! In the photo is Salina, who is a picture of beauty. She is the true definition of a hard worker and a happy mother.

Salina, a single mom, grows maize, raises animals, and engages in dairy farming. She produces milk and crop for commercial purposes, as opposed to many rural farmers who produce for subsistence.

Salina also grows maize for food and sales. These commercial activities place her in a better position to engage in other agricultural businesses, which she does.

Salina dreams that through farming, she will be able to pull away from poverty and see to it that all her children successfully complete their studies. She is visionary and keen to ensure that she keeps on progressing.

Juhudi Kilimo, in partnership with Kiva, has extended its services to the remote areas in the Eldoret region of Kenya, and the staff are keen to ensure that hardworking women like Salina benefit from loans that should enable them to purchase farming inputs.

Salina is seeking a loan to buy farm inputs such as seeds, fertilizer, and herbicides. Your loan will enable her to improve her production through the use of quality farm inputs.

Through this intervention, she will be able to improve the quality of her farm products and attract more buyers.

Support Salina during this planting season and make her life bright!
