Tujenge Umoja Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy cosmetics products, and palmitic acid to produce soap, which will strengthen her initial capital.

Tujenge Umoja Group's story

Mrs. Esperance is a client of Hekima MFI and president of the village group "TUJENGE UMOJA". She is a widow, 58 years old and mother of 10 children, 2 who are in school, 8 already independent.

She sells soap. She started this business in 2015 with start-up funds received from her late husband. Later, she involved the Hekima program to support her business, during which she gradually evolved. With this new loan, she will source cosmetic products, palmitic acid to produce soap, which will strengthen her initial capital.

The challenge of her business is related to the road insecurity.

She would like to be able to provide for her family.

Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support provided to owners of non-bankable businesses in this context of the global covid-19 crisis. The photo only shows the leader of the group due to Covid-19, in compliance with social distancing measures.
