Abanyamugisha Zamuka Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more shirts and skirts to sell.

Abanyamugisha Zamuka Group's story

Jeanette is a 45-year-old single mother of three children aged between 20 and 26 years. For the past seven years, she has been selling clothes.

Jeanette is the leader of the group named Abanyamugisha Zamuka, which means “Blessed people" in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Jeanette will use her loan to buy more shirts and skirts to sell in her community so that she can meet customer demand. With the profit she hopes to earn from her sales, she hopes to be able to buy a piece of land.

Jeanette is grateful for the support of lenders.

Note: Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
