Dusabane Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy beans, sorghum, and maize to sell.

Dusabane Cb Group's story

Claudine is a 40-year-old mother of four children between the ages of 4 and 9. Her husband is a farmer. For the past three years, she has been selling foodstuffs.

Claudine is the leader of the group named Dusabane CB, which means “let’s share together” in English. The group sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Claudine will use her portion of the loan to buy more beans, sorghum, and maize to sell in her community in order to meet the demands of her customers. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to pay school fees for her children.

Claudine is thankful for the support of the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
